ESTHER MASCHIO presently maintains her own studio called First EMpressions in Scituate MA, USA, where she teaches MONOPRINTING, BOOKMAKING, COLOR THEORY and DRAWING. She has also been teaching MONOPRINTING continually to beginner-advanced students since 1994 at the South Shore Art Center, Cohasset MA. Within the past five years COLOR THEORY and TORAY PLATEMAKING has also been successfully introduced at the Center. Special workshops are given on a year ‘round basis and include demonstrations, artist-in-residence programs at area schools, hands-on workshops, and gallery talks. Participants range from the bare beginners to art instructors and also include third - twelfth graders. Esther has juried regional shows, and is currently planning to establish a Printmakers Guild whose home will be at her First EMpressions studio. These plans will include artist-in-residence programs with B&B accomodations.
